WHAT TO DO When the BMS has shut the battery off for protection:
- Usually the BMS will automatically switch back on again once the conditions are safe (after about 30 mins)
- If the battery cannot recover by itself, try activating by normal charging method such as solar panel, inverter-chargers, AC charger, even a lead-acid battery.
- To make the BMS switch on again after a low-Voltage disconnect, the charging voltage must be 14.0 Volt or up, better to use AC charger.

Frequently asked Questions:
1. My LiFePO4 battery cannot be charged when it is completely discharged, why and what should I do?
The lithium battery enters over-discharge protection when the power is off, and its voltage becomes 0. The battery can be woken up with a lithium battery charger or 6 amp DC.
Although the SLA charger can power the LiFePO4 battery, we do not recommend you to use the SLA charger to charge the LiFePO4 battery, as it may destroy the internal electrolyte of the LiFePO4 and shorten the battery life.
We suggest our customers to use a lithium battery charger or charge the battery in time when the battery is low.
2. Can LiFe batteries be connected in parallel or in series?
It is best to charge them fully and use them in series or parallel as needed. We do not recommend mixing series and parallel. When connected in series or parallel, the number of batteries must not exceed 3.
3. Is the battery waterproof?
The batteries are sealed to keep everything out, but if there is a connection between them the water will still short the contacts. For longer battery life and smooth operation, try to keep the battery waterproof.
